Keep on keeping on

Hi all -- I hope you had a good Fourth of July. We did here, except for the fact that the fireworks were rained out. Now we get to see them on Saturday night, though, which is kind of fun. It's a Fourth of July that goes on all week long~!

I am doing the reading right along with you and know that there's a lot of information in the Lenses on Reading chapters that I assigned. Keep going in your reading, and remember to post to your blog what you're getting out of it. By 6pm tomorrow I will post a podcast (which will just be an audio link) under the multimedia section of the wiki so that after you do your reading and the blog, you can click on it and listen to my thoughts about the reading.

In case you're wondering why I am posting that after you have done the reading and the blog, it's because I want you to have gone through the material and formulated your own thoughts about it first -- what makes sense, what doesn't, etc. Also, if some of the terms are unfamiliar, I always check Wikipedia for a little background -- amazingly, many of these theoretical terms have pages there worth checking out.

So.... back to the reading & hope you're keeping cool in this sticky humidity.
